We are proud to be able to work on an equal footing with numerous renowned artists and creatives from Latin America. These partnerships will be further deepened in the coming years. Our focus is on long-term, trusting relationships.
The artists come from a wide range of disciplines and enrich our collection with their unique perspectives. Many of them have been active in Latin American street art for decades. In addition to graffiti and murals, they use traditional printing techniques such as screen printing, wood and lino printing and also use digital media such as video mapping to bring their messages closer to a wide audience.
In addition, we work closely with printing companies and creative workshops that serve as contact points for artists, especially to promote and support young talent. We are continuously expanding our collection with works that fit our core themes and come from artists who work in an authentic, inspiring and inclusive way - because that is what we stand for at Arte Popular Latino.

LA LINTERNA CALI
From outdoor advertising to a lively creative workshop.
"Move! - otherwise you'll be buried alive," sings Bobby Cruz to the rhythm of Richie Ray's orchestra. The same expression could also be used for the La Linterna graphic workshop, founded in 1934 near San Antonio, Cali, which has managed to write a new chapter in its history.
Since its founding in 1934, the printing company in Cali, Colombia, has had to reinvent itself again and again. After an economic bankruptcy, former master printers took over the business. They developed a new, self-managed business model that broke away from classic advertising production and focused on artistic projects. Using historic printing machines, sustainable sugar cane paper and a tropical color palette, distinctive art is created here in close collaboration with many artists in the region. A remarkable story from a variety of perspectives.
